Introduction
| Welcome! This website contains information regarding the ancestors, descendents, and relatives of Betty (Spires) Welch and Tod Welch. The most closely related surnames are Welch, Spires, Schroeder, Young, Parvin, Fletcher, Baughman, Miller, Ledbetter, Yocum, Bastin, Ziegler, and Bentley. This is the second revised second edition, and, thanks to the help of dozens of relatives, it is much more accurate and comprehensive than the first edition published in March of 1999 and has some additions and corrections since the original second edition of January of 2001. We realize that there will always be mistakes and apologize for any omissions or errors. We have tried to include everyone's information accurately with the best picture available. As we continue to work on genealogy, we realize that the search for more information (and more and better pictures) is a never ending task. We would be happy to include any data and photos that anyone would like to contribute. Feel free to browse the Surname List and Index. Due to security concerns, access to the linked data will be limited to those who obtain a password by contacting us by e-mail or regular mail and provide us with your return e-mail, phone number, and mailing address. After you review the site, please contact us with any additions or corrections. We are hopeful that we can update the site on at least a yearly basis. This project could not have happened without the photos and vivid memory of Shirley Welch and without the previous and ongoing research performed by many family members. We gratefully acknowledge their everlasting contributions. The site has moved to its present address due to the massive amount of new information. We thank Zachary Welch for his contribution to editing the Internet HTML code and for maintaining this web site on his computer system. |
